USAID-Funded Research Initiatives:FREE Liberia has extensive experience in USAID-funded research, supporting projects like Liberia Foundational Skills Activity (LFSA) and USAID Youth Advance (UYA) Pathway 3 (P-3), which equip youth with skills and employment opportunities. We conducted implementation research for USAID Youth Advance and a comprehensive assessment on families' and communities’ financial empowerment interventions, ensuring these programs are grounded in strong empirical evidence under the LFSA. |

School Leadership & Teacher Training Initiative:Through strategic partnerships, we have trained over 800 school administrators and teachers, enhancing educational leadership and instructional effectiveness. Additionally, over 600 educators and students have benefited from institutional training aimed at improving performance. Our consultancy services also extend to strategic plan development for educational institutions. |
Teacher Professionalization:We developed and administered standardized teacher certification exams at LICOSESS College of Education for over 650 teacher candidates, ensuring quality professionalization. We also collaborate with Liberia’s Ministry of Education to support teacher licensing and school accreditation efforts. |
