Liberia Advancing Through Research Project:FREE Liberia has undertaken groundbreaking research on student academic performance, with findings published in an international journal. In collaboration with a French research group, we explored the impacts of free and compulsory education in Liberia, with results also published internationally. Additionally, we successfully secured approval for a Peace Corps Volunteer to support the establishment of the Liberian International Journals for Academic Research (LIJAR), further solidifying our research footprint. |

Institutional Research Consultancies:Our consultancy work has supported major international organizations, including ZOA Liberia & Angie Brooks International Centre (ABIC) and Canada’s based CODE and WE-CARE Foundation. We conducted a baseline assessment on Girls' Accelerated Learning Initiative Expansion in four counties in 2024 and provided in-depth data analysis and reporting for WE-CARE. |
USAID-Funded Research Initiatives:
FREE Liberia has extensive experience in USAID-funded research, supporting projects like Liberia Foundational Skills Activity (LFSA) and USAID Youth Advance (UYA) Pathway 3 (P-3), which equip youth with skills and employment opportunities. We conducted implementation research for USAID Youth Advance and a comprehensive assessment on families' and communities’ financial empowerment interventions, ensuring these programs are grounded in strong empirical evidence under the LFSA. |
